Zachary Dulny is a Kansas City & New York City based lighting designer, programmer, and electrician. Zach was born in Shawnee, Kansas and went to school at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. Zach started acting in musical theatre when he was in sixth grade, and it wasn’t until he got into high school that he started doing the technical side. He fell in love with lighting design and now goes to the State University of New York-Purchase College and is getting a BFA in Theatre design and Production with an emphasis in Lighting Design. He has won awards for his lighting design, including Kansas Thespians Tech Scholarship, a Superior rating on his design for A Midsummer Night’s Dream with one point of perfect, and placed 2nd in Production and Design in the JoCo Shooting Stars program. Zach spent most of his high school doing all the concerts and events that traveled through the Greg Parker Auditorium, which in turn got him the Greg Parker Memorial award, Best Senior Technician Award, Golden Hammer, Technical Contribution award, Best Crewhead, and others in Thespian Troupe #888.
